Zeolite absorbs significant amounts of various types of fluids and has high exchange rates for cations and organic compounds. Zeolite is a highly effective absorbent for ammonia, organic compounds, odors, sulfur dioxide gases.  NSF Standard 61 and 50 approved.

TEN TIMES BETTER POOL WATER FILTRATION THAN SAND

Use one 25 lb bag of Zeolite
for each 50 lbs of Sand Capacity
of your filter system.
Example: If your filter system calls for 250 lbs offilter sand (5-50lb bags)

Zeolites are naturally occurring minerals formed millions of years ago.

Viewed under an electron microscope, the granules reveal void spaces as small as 3 microns. Small particles of clay and silt suspended in water are trapped in the void spaces. 

Molecular sieving occurs when water contaminants such as ammonia ions are adsorbed and chemically locked onto the zeolite granules.

The combination of physical entrapment of fine particles and molecular sieving of contaminants makes zeolite a superb water filtration media and Zeolite produces superior water clarity compared to regular sand media.
